Our Story
Owners, Shane and Carol, started the gym in 1989 with a dream to create a safe place for all children to feel special and unique. They combined a shared love of gymnastics and teaching children and 36 years later AGA has impacted the lives of countless children and families. From “Mini’s” working on eye-hand coordination, to Seniors in High School perfecting their craft, we don’t just teach gymnastics – we instill life lessons.
Dedication and determination learned through years of hard work at AGA is what led Kristin Chang, Jennifer Kasler, Triandie Wold, Nicole Kilroy, Hailey Gaspar, Holly Partridge, Richelle Asa, Sekai Wright, and Trisha Raquel to become National Champions. AGA has been a proud partner in helping our athletes receive collegiate athletic scholarships from institutions such as Cal Berkley, UC Davis, UCSB, Cal State Fullerton, Boise State, UCLA, San Jose State, and Arizona Christian. Signal Hill is our home, and all 800+ students are an integral part of our family. We hope that you’ll consider joining us!
